1. What type of warranty do you offer?
All fans come standard with the manufactures warranty. The warranty will be specified under the product features.
2. Will installation instructions come with my fan?
Yes. Installation instructions will be included with your purchase.
3. What are the shipping costs?
At Select Fans shipping is FREE to the continental 48 United States.
4. When will my order ship?
We guarantee your order will ship within 72 hours, most orders will ship within 24 hours.
5. What is your return policy?
If you are not 100% satisfied with your order you may return any item for any reason within 30 days without penalty. Please re-package each un-used item in the original box. Items that have been installed, and show wear and tear are not qualified for returns. When we receive the item in the original condition your credit card will be refunded the original purchase price less the cost of the shipping. We do not charge restocking fees.
To return an item, you must call Customer Care Services at (800-435-4978) for instruction on the return.
6. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. You can also pay by cashier check or money order by selecting this option in the checkout screen. (Cashier Check / Money Order options will not go into production until payment has been received)
7. How do I change or cancel an order once it has been placed?
We will do everything we can to help you with any changes to your order. Orders may be changed within the first 24 hours. All changes and cancellations must be done via phone. If you choose to change or cancel your order, please contact us within 24 hours of purchase via phone (800-435-4978) between 8am – 5pm Mountain Time
8. Why is there an order processing fee?
Due to the escalating cost of fuel and processing costs, Select Fans has adopted an industry standard order processing fee on all orders. By adopting this fee, it allows us to keep our prices low and continue offering free shipping on all products.

10. What length downrod do I need?
Ideally, fan blades should be 7 to 8 feet from the floor for maximum cooling. For ceilings 9 feet tall or taller, use a downrod to bring the fan down to the proper height above the floor.
11. Is my ceiling fan light kit adaptable?
Most ceiling fans are light kit adaptable; however it depends on the manufacturer and specific fan. Not all light kits fit every model. Please confer with Select Fans before making your purchase if your not sure if the light kit will fit your fan.
12. How much can I expect to save in cooling / heating cost?
During the summer months save up to 40% on air conditioning by setting your fan for downdraft, which provides a cooling wind chill effect to make you feel up to 8º cooler
During the winter months save up to 10% of heating costs by setting your fan for updraft, which reclaims lost heat from ceiling.
13. How much electricity will a fan draw?
On average, a ceiling fan run on high speed will consume less power than a 100-watt light bulb.
14. Do you ship internationally?
Select Fans will only ship to the continental 48 United States; under special circumstances will we ship outside of the continental 48 United States, additional shipping charges may apply.
